Tom Peck is Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO) at Sysco (NYSE: SYY) – a $62B food service and distribution company that services over 650,000 customers from nearly 350 worldwide facilities. Tom’s mandate is to accelerate Sysco’s business transformation through customer-facing technology solutions, eCommerce and modernization of its compute capabilities.

Tom previously served in a similar CIDO role at Ingram Micro -- a $50B global leader in technology distribution, cloud solutions and supply chain services servicing 200,000 customers in 160 countries. Prior to Ingram Micro, Tom served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer at AECOM, a $19-billion global provider of professional technical and management support services. AECOM’s 100,000 employees — including architects, engineers, designers, planners, scientists and management and construction services professionals — design, build, finance, and operate infrastructure assets for public and private sector clients in more than 150 countries around the world. Additionally, from 2014 through 2017 he led the company’s global procurement and travel departments.

Before joining AECOM, Tom served as CIO at Levi Strauss & Company which operated brands across 60,000 sales locations in 110 countries. He has also held roles as CIO at MGM MIRAGE (now MGM Resorts), CIO of NBC Universal’s global entertainment business, global Quality Leader for NBC Universal, General Electric Six Sigma Master Black Belt and numerous technology roles at General Electric. He is also a former officer in the United States Marine Corps where he had a distinguished career inclusive of both operational and headquarter assignments.
 

Tom is active in support of military veterans and serves as the Executive Sponsor of Sysco’s Veterans Associate Resource Group. He is also a non-executive director for Faithful Service for Veterans – a non-profit focused on advancing causes for veterans.

Tom has a history of innovation, is a frequently requested keynote speaker, a strong proponent of DEI in technology and was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame in 2015 for lifetime achievements in the CIO field.
