Jill Almaguer is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Registered Professional Engineer in Texas. At NordStar Group, she consults and provides project management services across industries on IT solutions including High Performance Computing and Cyber Security. During her 20-year tenure at HP, Almaguer led multi-million dollar projects such as the deployment of HP proprietary medical equipment to the largest army hospital in Texas, Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, and managed the implementation and deployment of a nationwide high-speed telecommunications network monitoring system to assure service delivery and detection of network hacking. She has led semi-conductor design software engineering teams at Agilent Technologies, and as Director of Life Sciences at Sheriff and Company, led the development of RFID asset tracking systems for healthcare. Almaguer’s healthcare experience includes program management of a $6M Emerging Technology Fund grant for the Texas Heart Institute, and project portfolio management for Harris Health System, one of the largest public integrated healthcare delivery systems in Texas.


Mrs. Almaguer has worked with Six Sigma and TQM projects. As an adjunct faculty member at DeVry University, she taught a variety of business and project management undergraduate courses. Almaguer co-authored a study guide for the Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician exam published by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation.


Almaguer has an MBA and a BS in Bioengineering. She currently serves on the Texas A&M University Biomedical Engineering External Technical Advisory Board. She is the current chairman of the Biomedical Engineering Society Houston Industry Chapter and past president of the Association of IT Professionals in Houston. She has presented at numerous national and regional conferences for Society of Women Engineers and Project Management Institute.
