Most recently he served as the CISO/SVP at Woodforest National Bank from August 2012 – June 2021. Currently Marc is the CEO, Founder, vCIO/vCISO of CyberFore Systems Corporation, a cybersecurity consulting, solutions provider, and services corporation he founded in 2018.
Marc has a Master of Business Administration, Technology and Strategy, from the University of California Irvine – Paul Merage School of Business and is an alum of the FBI CISO Academy attending in February/March 2017. He has multiple business, including Board, technology, and cybersecurity certifications. He is an Associate Member of the Texas Bankers Association and a Trusted Advisor to the Texas Bankers Association ISAO (Information Sharing and Analysis Organization). He serves on the Forbes Technology Council and multiple advisory boards, has written several articles, and spoken at many local and national conferences. In 2019 Marc was awarded the coveted T.E.N. ISE North America Executive of the Year award. Marc is also the author of The Coming Cyber War – What Executives, The Board, and You Should Know which was released in October 2020.

Mike has been the CISO at Abnormal security since April 2021. Prior to Abnormal, Mike served in numerous roles at Alliance data including Global Chief Security Officer and Chief Privacy Officer.
