George Danner is the author of the forthcoming book The Executive Guide to Automation published by Springer. In his talk, he will provide some practical advice on company automation, from supply chains to forecasting demand to pricing to strategic decision-making, and which technologies in the mix that will be crucial to future success.

George Danner is President of Business Laboratory, LLC, an award winning consultancy that uses the very latest scientific techniques and methods to improve the performance of mid-size and large organizations through problem-solving, the optimization of existing practices and advanced forecasting. Their clients include BP, Schlumberger, Target Stores, TIAA-CREF, TD Ameritrade, and the US Navy to name of few. George is also the author of the Amazon best seller book Profit from Science, and his new book “The Executive Guide to Automation”, is due out later this year.
Throughout his career George has specialized in the application of agent-based simulation modeling, Monte Carlo simulation, System Dynamics, Game Theory, Visualization, and Real Options to solve some of the world’s most difficult and complex business strategy problems. He has 30 years of experience in corporate strategy, specifically operational and financial analysis, across a wide variety of industries: manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, transportation and financial services. George has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
