September 2018 SIM Member Monthly Meeting
"Moving Beyond the Firewall: The Next Frontier of IT Leadership"
Even successful IT executives and managers are under pressure to meet the steadily increasing demands from the business. The perception of IT's value is declining, the pace of change is faster than ever, and time is of the essence for IT to take a stand and demonstrate how technology can change the course for an organization’s success or failure. Business technology leaders – on any level in IT management – can change how they impact and create value for their organizations.
Join us for this session to hear how organizations need their business technology leaders to influence and lead across the organization -- and move from traditional back-office IT to provide unique streams of value on the other side of the firewall.
